Not all advertised cabinet paints are suitable for cabinet painting. We only used true cabinet lacquer-based cabinet paint specific to cabinet painting. Our finish products are levels above latex based paints claiming to be durable enough for cabinetry other painters are using. They are soft and rubber like and do not have the bonding or the durability against moisture, heat, and chemicals used daily in a kitchen and will typically fail sooner than later unlike the lacquers we use. Don’t make the mistake of allowing someone to use an insufficient product it will always cause problems later so please do your research.
